There are'nt alot of cars like this around... My friend just happens to own this one... but keep looking... You never know what you might find!! and keep your camera close by at all times... just in case!! Appreciate the Fav!!
Thanks Shane!! I would have posted the whole car, but my friend was standing in the open drivers door... So I cropped him out.... But I Loved the dried grass and colors, and of course Challengers are Cool!! So I had to post it!!
The 1970 Challenger has to be one of my 5 favorite cars of all time, but I honestly never cared for the "fishmouth" grill on the '72-'74s
(not to mention the huge nosedive in power that happend to go with it)!
I like the 70's best too!! I once contemplated buying one, but the only parts that were'nt rusty were the grille and tail light bar... No motor, interior, floor pans, quarters, fenders, or roof pillars... she was shot and living in a pig shed, with pigs... but even so, I still layed awake a few nights, thinking about getting it anyway... But I did'nt!! Lol...
Welcome to the world of all 1970s Chrysler products -- known for rusting out way before their time! (compared with the other 3 companies). How is your "74 Charger, rustwise? (I learned to drive on a friend's "electric razor"- faced '66. )
Honestly the Chargers not bad... getting some quarter rust, but I've seen so much worse... the rockers and fenders are still solid too.... A 66 huh...? Love to have one of those... My friend and I build models occasionally, and I'm working on a 66... was it a stick or auto...?
It is strange they all start with C... My first car was a 74 Duster... and when it past on, I always wanted another one.. but never got one... instead I had a 75 Dart, a 76 Aspen, and an 77 Roadrunner.. all gone now, and replaced with the 74 Charger... which I never really cared for, until I saw mine... It's funny how cars come and go.... I still like the older stuff though!!
